# Make Your Own Phone Wallpaper: Photos, Names and Birthdays for Your Lock Screen

You can make your own phone wallpaper: choose a photo you have permission to use, add a name, birthday or favourite phrase, export it for your phone's screen size, then set it as your lock screen. Ordinary wallpaper does not need a Taiwan e-invoice mobile barcode or a design app installation.

## Ordinary wallpaper, photocards and Taiwan barcode wallpaper

## Make your wallpaper in five steps

1. Open the [wallpaper maker](https://fansupport.joelin.cc/en/card/#article=9989&article_lang=en&placement=body&product=wallpaper) and choose “Phone wallpaper.” If you do not need a barcode, leave the optional Taiwan barcode layer off.
2. Select your own photo or original illustration, then drag to position the subject. On a phone, use two fingers to zoom. Keep important details away from the edges.
3. Add a name and subtitle. Try a border, a colour-strip design or a birthday template. A birthday countdown needs the relevant date; the general tool entry may not have one filled in. Check the preview before proceeding.
4. Choose a phone model or the available option for your current phone's screen size. Turn on the clock and notification guides to keep faces and words clear. These guides show approximate positions; the actual layout depends on your phone settings.
5. Press download, complete the free sign-in, then continue downloading the PNG in the same browser. Set it as your lock screen. Avoid switching browsers during sign-in, because the temporarily stored photo and settings may not carry over.

You do not have to use a person's photo. Your pet, a travel photo, original geometric artwork or words alone also work. This site does not supply idol photos. ## Match your screen instead of making everything 9:16

The tool includes model sizes such as 1170 × 2532, 1179 × 2556 and 1320 × 2868, along with a 1080 × 2400 Android option. By comparison, 1080 × 1920 is the 9:16 portrait ratio commonly used for stories; it does not represent every phone screen.

If your model is absent, check its screen dimensions and compare the preview. The phone may still zoom or crop the image when applying wallpaper. Afterwards, inspect the clock, notifications and bottom buttons. If needed, return to the tool, reduce the subject and leave more space around it. ## Set the download as your lock screen

- iPhone: save the image, then add a photo under Settings → Wallpaper, or press and hold the lock screen to open its wallpaper settings. See [Apple's wallpaper instructions](https://support.apple.com/guide/iphone/change-the-wallpaper-iph3d267104/ios) for the details.
- Android: select the downloaded image in your phone's wallpaper settings and apply it to the lock screen. Labels vary by manufacturer and software version; follow the options on your device.

The original photo is read and composited in your browser. When you sign in and download, the finished design is saved to your member account for 14 days and then automatically deleted; you can also delete it yourself. This does not mean the original photo is kept on the server, or that the finished image is never uploaded. Keep the downloaded file on your own device if you want it for longer.

## Use the same photo for a photocard

The same tool also offers photocard mode, with 55 × 85, 54 × 86, 63 × 88 and 59 × 86 mm presets. These serve different uses; they are not a universal standard for all official photocards. You can also choose the available full-sheet layout, download it and arrange to print it yourself or through a print shop. Confirm the paper and cutting method separately.
